Mark Kurvers is a Doctoral Candidate in the WAVES: Core Research and Engineering group within the Department of Engineering Technology at KU Leuven. As part of the DN – iSense project, he will conduct research on dynamic, complex electromagnetic environments. His goal is to identify and prioritise various EM parameters based on the impact on system performance and reliability. These parameters will be used to develop an accurate and cost-effective methodology for EMI monitoring, which will be validated empirically in different environments.
He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. in electrical engineering in in 2023 and 2025, respectively, from the Technische Universiteit Eindhoven, The Netherlands.
His research interests include electromagnetic compatibility, electromagnetic modelling and reverberation chambers.
