Carlos Ramos is a Doctoral Candidate in the department of Electromagnetism and Matter Physics at the University of Granada. As part of the DN-iSense project, he will focus on the development of time-domain stochastic methods to simulate complex EMI systems with a focus on photovoltaic systems.
Carlos completed his undergraduate studies in both physics and mathematics at the National University of Colombia, where he developed an interest in applied sciences. He pursued his master’s studies at the University of Granada during the 2023–2024 academic year through a scholarship from the “Fundación Carolina”. His master’s thesis focused on the Conformal Finite Difference Time-Domain (CFDTD) method.
His research interests include numerical analysis, numerical methods, electromagnetism and applied science in general.
