Cai Arcos Botías
DC15

Cai Arcos Botías is currently working as an electronic engineer at EMC Barcelona and is enrolled at UPC as a PhD candidate. As a member of the DN-iSense project, he will focus on creating the sensors, acquisition systems, and data processing techniques necessary for continuously monitoring Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) from large photovoltaic installations.

He previously researched the effect of complex radiation environments in commercial memories at CERN and developed low-noise electronics for quantum impedance bridges at PTB. He received a bachelor’s and master’s degree in electronic engineering from UPC, the latter including a stay at EPFL focusing on microelectronic design.

His research interests include novel sensor architectures for in situ EMI detection and precision electrical impedance metrology.
