DC11: A digital twin for real-time electromagnetic compatibility assurance of an automotive wheel-speed sensor
Project: A digital twin for real-time electromagnetic compatibility assurance of an automotive wheel-speed sensor (WP4)
Host institution: TUS (Bulgaria)
Supervisor: Dimitar Nikolov Nikolov (TUS, Bulgaria)
Co-supervisor(s): Marin Hristov (TUS, Bulgaria), Davy Pissoort (KU Leuven, Belgium), Svilen Krustev (Renesas, Bulgaria)
Objectives:
- Create a comprehensive system-level model that accurately predicts the functional behaviour for a wheelspeed sensor system when exposed to EMI.
- Use the developed system-level model to construct a parameterized EMI digital twin.
- Verify and validate the EMI-aware digital twin.
Expected Results:
- System-level model that predicts the functional behaviour and safety levels of a physical asset when subjected to severe EMI.
- Parameterized EMI model specific to the wheel-speed sensor system, integrated with data from EMI sensors.
Planned secondment(s):
- Academic secondment: KU Leuven, Prof. Davy Pissoort, M30-M32, 3M, Experiment with wheel-speed sensor test subject under the severe EMI.
- Industrial secondment: Renesas, Dr. Svilen Krustev, M18 to M21, 3M, Analyse the analog-front end of the IC and PCB topology of wheel-speed sensor
Enrolment in Doctoral degree: TUS (Bulgaria)
